March 14th, 2008Add edges for chest area.

Add edges for create hand.

Go to stomach area. Add couple edges for create six packs.


Add edges for back body. Create six packs. Select faces and extrude it.

We finish modeling the body and now time to hand modeling.

Add edges loop for elbow. Add edges for detailing hand. Add hand and combine.

We finish with hand and now we prepare for modeling the leg.

Select edges and extrude it. Add couple edges for detailing leg.

Add foot and combine it. We finish modeling body, hand and leg.

Now time to combine head and body.

Add accessory like helmet. I’m use polygon sphere and delete half of sphere face, add polygon plane for helmet belt.

Create shirt. Select faces on body area and duplicate face. Select shirt polygon and extrude out the body (just little) and go to edit > invert selection and delete the faces. Delete face you don’t need. Why I use this technique, because after you duplicate face and scale the shirt polygon you will meet issue on armpit area (you can try it if you want).

Select edges border and use scale to create flat on the bottom of shirt. After that select the shirt and extrude inside the body.

Still select the faces and delete all face inside the shirt.

We finish modeling the shirt. You can use same technique create pants, shoes and belt.

We finish modeling this soldier.
