Modeling Skateboard

In this Maya tutorial we will learn how to modeling skateboard.

There is any 3 part I apply in this tutorial.

  1. Deck
  2. Trucks
  3. Wheels

From this 3 parts, Trucks part little bit more handwork.

Deck Part

Create a polygon cube (for attributes value follow picture below).

Tweak cube vertexes until like picture below.

Truck Part

In this part any three primitive polygon which I apply.

For create base part for truck I apply a polygon cube.

Select faces and extrude it up. Tweak vertexes (no 3). Create hole on top of base.

Create holes for bold. Select faces and extrude it down.

I add loop edges every side of base.

Create a polygon cylinder.

Select faces and extrude face. Tweak vertexes (little bit need hard work there) until like picture below (no. 2).

Select faces and extrude it. Like step above you need tweak vertexes.

This after I smooth the object.

Create cylinder and extrude it until like picture below.

This is result of trucks parts.

Wheels Part

In this part I apply polygon pipe and cylinder. For polygon pipe I just tweak vertexes and for cylinder I extrude.

This is the result of modeling skateboard.

hey..im just a beginner in maya3d,nice skateboard..ill try to experiment with maya so ill came up with different figures…

ahm if you mind..can please send me updates and more tutorials..im one your fan now…
