Modeling Saw

In this Maya tutorial we will learn how to modeling saw. Actually this simple, but I hopefully can help you or you can learn something from this tutorial.

Step 1

Create polygon cube, for attributes value see the picture below.

Step 2

Select vertexes like picture below and then draws upward.

After that deselect vertex that is most left and draws rest of vertex to the left.

Step 3

Select saw object and choose lattice deformer.

Step 4

Select lattice point and then draws upward.

Step 5

For deleting lattice deformer. Select saw object and choose delete history.

Step 6

Now we modeling saw handle. Create cube, for attributes value see picture below.

im having trouble in the step when u use the append to polygon i dont know how to use it to cover the hole could u plz make it more clear how to move with the mouse or smthn ?

@ RICHO
first select append to polygon and click on one of edge on that hole, after that you will see purple mark on other edges and click it. Usually i click on bottom edge and after appear purple mark I click opposite of that bottom edge (i mean top of previous edge i clicked), I do it one by one until I fill all hole.
