yes of course.
Before you import clip or video you must convert your video to image sequence, you can use after effect or i usually use video to jpeg converter (free software). The important thing is the file name, you can check on render setting > image file output > frame/animation ext, maya will know that image sequence from the file name.
And than import you file like you import still image into 3d object but you must check “use image sequence”.
I hope this can help you. Tell me if you still don’t understand i will try to create the tutorial.

That was a great tutorial!
My own question is, when you set a video or an image on that screen, whats the steps to do this screen illuminating the screen light and image like real on other objects ? Using mental ray renderer.

Thanks in advance, George.

I have the same question as George. Can you please explain how you did the “glass” effect on the TV?

Regards,
Peter

hi, your tutorials are all very good..but most tutorials have one thing that they dont tell..HOW THE***** do you get the render results..? I mean how to build something is the one side, but the other thing and the most important : What do you have to do to get an photorealistic result?? Why does nobody explain this in every step???
This makes me mad..
