Using append to polygon tool and follow the curve.

Add curve on corner nostril and mouth area. And using append to polygon tool to add polygon face. (see picture below)

Again add curve on the nose. And using append to polygon too.

We leave nose area for a while. And we go to top and bottom mouth area. Add polygon use append to polygon tool.

We back again to nose area.

For nostril area. Select edge border on nostril area. Extrude edge and scale it down. Make little shape for nostril.

Again, select edge border on nostril area and extrude

And now we have low poly head.

And now we start to make detail in couple area. We start from for head area. Add edge loop on for head area and shape.
