This Maya Tutorial will explain about modeling human especially in the form of anime. To do modeling naruto chibi, I make sketch beforehand.

1. Create two polygon planes for place of naruto sketch.

2. I start with modeling in body, hand and foot/feet. Applies cylinder for body and cube for hand and foot/feet.

3. Form of cylinder as according to body sketch then combines by hand.

4. Create detail for body.

5. This is result from body modeling.

6. For part of foot/feet, form of polygon cube like picture hereunder.

7. This is result from modeling part of foot/feet.

8. This is result from body and foot/feet modeling.

9. Add palm.

10. To make foot/feet, I start it with polygon cube, and then I am form of like picture hereunder.

11. This is result from foot/feet modeling.

12. To make sandal, select face like picture hereunder.

13. Applies duplicate face.

14. Does extrude in sandal underside.

15. This is result from sandal modeling.

16. this is result from modeling which has been made.

17. For head modeling, I start it by using polygon cube.

18. Smooth cube.

19. Delete some face, finite only remains frontage cube only. (I am not too liked if seeing from front seen vertex which its position at backside, that hardly disturbs).

20. Adds some edges then form of like picture below.

21. For part of eye, select some faces then extrude.

22. Repairs form of eye.

23. To make part of eyebrow, select faces then extrude.

24. Delete underside eyebrow.

25. Create nose.

26. Form of nose as according to sketch.

27. To make mouth part, applies split polygon to make lip like picture hereunder.

28. Add some edges.

29. Returns to part of eye, create a sphere for eyeball.

30. Arranges part of eye that as according to eyeball. (Did extrude if needs).

31. Head frontage completed, then adds head backside. (Head backside is not necessarily too much edges).

32. This is result from head modeling.

33. This is result from hair shaped modeling and some other accessories.

34. This is end result from modeling human: naruto chibi.
