Select all edges border and extrude until like picture bellow.

Add edges loop every side on top body.

Adds also edges loop at underside body.

This is result from body part after smoothing.

To make part of head and covers, create sphere with subdivision 10.

LoLs. A bin.. I made one like that not too long ago.. Bins are quite a good exercise for beginners to start off with :)
