Modeling Drawer Chest

In this Maya tutorial we will learn how to modeling a drawer chest.
Step 1
Create a cube for base (for size is depend on you).

Step 2
Extrude cube.

Step 3
Create a cube for side chest.

Step 4
Duplicate the cube for create opposite side.

Step 5
Create a cube for backside chest.

Step 6
Duplicate the base and places it on top.


Step 7
Create cubes again.

Step 8
For create a drawer, we start from cube.

Step 9
Extrude top of drawer.

Step 10
Extrude again the top side until like image below.

Step 11
This step is optional, you can create your own decoration here by extrude the drawer.

And this is result.

Step 12
After finish with drawer we need a knob to pull and push the drawer.
For create a knob, we can start with create a sphere.

Step 13
Select faces on backside of sphere.

Step 14
Extrude faces until like image below.

Keep extrude my friend. And this is my result.

Step 15
Places the knob on drawer.

Step 16
And last work, places the drawer in chest.
