Hello there…still in my 3d models collection furniture tutorial, now we modeling a simple chair. Like usual all size in this tutorial is depend on you.
Step1
Create cubes and places it like image below.

Step 2
Create cubes again for seat socket.

Step 3
Create a cube for back prop. Create is rather curved (optional).

Step 4
Create a cube for seat place. Please see where I place the loop edges.

Smooth it and places it on seat socket.

Step 5 (optional)
Create accessory for the chair, I use three cylinder.

Step 6 (optional)
I like rounded side so I will make this chair little bit more rounded. Select chair parts except seat place, back prop (we will do this later with this part) and cylinders accessory.

Go to edit polygon and bevel it. Value in bevel attribute is depend on object size.

For we play on back prop, select every edges on side back prop and bevel it.

This result after we bevel this chair.

And this result after I render.
