For Animation

We will make animation water ripple. Point from this animation is:

1. At the time of falling leaf touches water hence water ripple will start moving
2. Expanding ring of ripple
3. Water ripple disappear

For keyframe you can determine by your own, I only show which attribute you must key set

Create a polygon plane and set subdivision width and height to 100.

Create a polygon plane for leaf object.

Animation of fall leaf

At the time of leaf touches water hence water ripples will emerge

Water ripples would increasingly big.

Water ripples will disappear.

This is result from wave deformer animation.
