For Modeling

For example of modeling us would modeling an ice cream cone with twist and combined with flare.

Create a polygon cube.

Set height to 3

Subdivision width to 4

Subdivision height to 10

Subdivision depth to 4

Select cube and choose twist deformer.

Set start angle to 300.

Select the cube and choose flare deformer.

Set end flare x and z to 0.1.

Set curve to 2.

Last of you can make ice cream handle (I am ordinary calls biscuit handle) by using cylinder polygon.

This is result from modeling an ice cream cone.
